Jo-Fu Lotus Lin joined the faculty of NTHU Linguistics
Dr. Jo-Fu Lotus Lin received her B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Washington. She then received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Speech & Hearing Sciences from the same university. After post-doctoral training in the Institute for Learning & Brain Sciences, she was promoted to research scientist in the MEG Brain Imaging Center at the University of Washington. After returning to Taiwan, Dr. Lin worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the National Taiwan University. Dr. Lin has expertise in non-invasive neuroimaging methods, including magnetoencephalography (MEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and electroencephalography (EEG). Her research focuses on neurolinguistics, auditory neuroscience, and cognitive neuroscience, particularly on understanding neural mechanisms of bilingual language processing and learning with multimodal brain imaging techniques.
