Description:
Applications are invited for an open-rank tenure-track position in (a) experimental linguistics and/or quantitative linguistics; (b) field linguistics with preference on phonetics/phonology, appointed by the Graduate Institute of Linguistics, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. The ideal candidate will be a linguist who utilizes laboratory and/or quantitative methodologies to explore formal linguistic theory. Subfield is open, but experience in interdisciplinary research is strongly preferred and special consideration will be given to candidates who interface with the research of current faculty members in NTHU linguistics. Applicants should have a PhD degree or be very close to finishing it.
Duties Include:
1. Teaching undergraduate-level and graduate-level courses
2. Lecturing in English in most or all courses
3. Student consulting and research advising
4. Administration work

2. Photocopy of your PhD diploma or a letter from your dissertation supervisor certifying date of completion of degree (applicants must have the diploma in hand by the time of appointment)
3. Three letters of recommendation
4. A cover letter explaining your research interests and teaching capacity
5. A description of courses you have taught and/or propose to teach
