Applications are invited for an open-rank tenure-track position in theoretical linguistics, appointed by the Graduate Institute of Linguistics, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. Subfield is open, but experience in interdisciplinary research is strongly preferred and special consideration will be given to candidates who interface with the research of current faculty members in NTHU linguistics. Applicants should have a PhD degree or be very close to finishing it.
Duties Include:
1. Teaching undergraduate-level and graduate-level courses
2. Lecturing in English in most or all courses
3. Student consulting and research advising
4. Administration work
Application should include:
1. CV and major publications
2. Photocopy of your PhD diploma (applicants must have the diploma in hand by the time of appointment; your diploma must be notarized by the Taiwan embassy, consular office, representative office, and other MOFA accredited agencies in your country)
3. Three letters of recommendation
4. A cover letter explaining your research interests and teaching capacity
5. A description of courses you have taught and/or propose to teach
