本次演講涵蓋兩個議題：第一，討論麻六甲當地閩南語的使用情形(以泉州方言為例)。亦即，當地閩南語混同其他漢語方言，反映在音韻、語法和語義等語法層次上。第二，考察當地的文化現象：南音和多元宗教文化的混合。

In this talk, we address two issues. First, we explore the linguistic aspects of the use of Malaysian Southern Min in Malacca focusing on the Quanzhou variety: the local Min shows its hybrid nature in incorporating elements of other Chinese dialects as manifested in various grammatical components such as phonology, syntax and semantics. Second, we highlight the intriguing phenomena of local culture featuring the Nanyin music and the mixture of multi-dimensional religion and culture.
